Jogger Pants

Jogger Pants has become a trend for some time now, and I finally got to have a pair. It's supper comfy and stylish. But who says pants like these are only fit for sports and street wear? They actually rock in stilettos. You can stay comfortable and classy at the same time.

For this look I'm wearing a Black Bershka Blouse, Blue jogger pants with Black garter, Blue Necklace, Vans Sunnies, and Black Stilettos with silver heels from Syrup Los Angeles, USA.

Chimelong Safari Park, Guangzhou

7:33 AM Unknown 0 Comments

Most of us heard about the Chimelong Water Park in Zhuhai, China. But did you know there are actually alot of Chimelong Theme Parks? The common one is the water park in Zhuhai, where most tourist go to because it is the closest one near Macau. However the entrance fee to the park is more expensive compared to the other branches. The other Chimelong branches are in Guangzhou with 3 kinds of theme parks. There's Chimelong Paradise; where there are mostly rides. Chimelong Water Park; which is like Ocean Park where they feature aquatic animals. And lastly Chimelong Safari Park; where they feature different sorts of animals you can find in the wild. The three branches are right next to each other, however each theme park has its own entrance fee.Which is about 350 RMB.

In this trip, we went to Chimelong Safari Park. We had to ride a train from Zhuhai to Guangzhuo, which cost about 70 RBM. There is an option to take a bus, but taking the train is more convenient and faster. The train ride was about 1 hour and 15 mins. We had to go through 5 stops and it takes 15 mins to go from one station to another. The train wasn't underground so we actually had a view of china. Despite the rooftops and factories we passed by, the view was actually better than expected. The train station at Guangzhou big and clean that it actually looked like an airport. When we got to Guangzhou, we took a taxi ride from the station to the theme park. It isn't that far and it was about 15 - 20 RMB.

The Chimellong Safari Park is at the very end, and probably the biggest of the parks. It may first seem like your ordinary zoo, but the further you walk the more you feel as if are being one with nature. The park is actually really big and based on the map we had, we just covered less than 1/4 of the park. It was too tiresome to walk around. So don't think about wearing fancy shoes. But if you do get too tired or hungry, there are restaurants located everywhere. The park also provides a mini cart that you can use (it's not free). You probably have to make time if you want to see the whole park, because it could take you the whole day on foot.

Here are some pictures of the animals we took on the trip.

Birthday Special

7:51 AM Unknown 0 Comments

And here it is! The day I finally turned officially legal. I'm finally 21. But honestly, I'm not feeling it yet. I still feel the teenage soul lingering in my veins. I guess this is where the saying goes "Age is just a number".Yes I'm 21, I have more responsibilities but that doesn't mean we have to get old real fast. This just means life just got a little more exciting.

Anyway, for this birthday I had 3 Celebrations. The 1st part was at the Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou, China. The 2nd part was on the day itself. I celebrated with my roommate(we had the same birthday! How cool is that?). And the 3rd one was a buffet at the Sofitel.

The buffet was insanely good that we just kept coming for more. I couldn't resist tasting the different desserts that was served(Sorry for my poor plate display). But what really topped off the lunch was a surprise birthday cake with the staff and manager singing to me. Now how cool is that? I would definitely come back for more next time.

Today I wore a Blue Floral Dress which I got from a boutique in Zhuhai, Black belt, Black Cardigan, and Blue wedge boots.

- The Birthday Party -

Earlier I mentioned me and my roommate share the same birthday. So she decided to celebrate the day as a Tea Party at Sheraton Hotel. She ordered really awesome tea party food which transformed the room to a mini bake shop. And I helped out with decorations.

Valkyrie Octopus

Talk about magic? Well here is Joana Vasconcelo's "Valkyrie Octopus" of her Valkyrie Series at the Grande Praca, MGM Macau. The exhibit measures 20 meters in height, 35 meters in length, and it weighs 1,200 kg. It is said that the Valkyrie Octopus took almost 10 months to create and is made form more than 4,000 meters of boldly colored and patterned fabrics. It is also the artist's largest piece to date.

At first sight, you can feel the whimsical yet aquatic vibe from it which plays with ambiance and the lighting of the area. It's as if you are taken to another place, experiencing another culture. If you haven't seen it yet, hurry because the exhibit is only till the end of October, 2015.

Today I am wearing a lace crop top from Forever 21, Black skater skirt and Black Low Cut All-Stars.
It's funny how my outfit(including my kawaii Hello Kitty umbrella) suits the ambiance of the place.
A simple but magical moment.

Alto de Coloane Temple

1:42 AM Unknown 0 Comments

I lived in Macau for 11 years, and I've been going back there for a few summers. But in the time span I've been there, this is the only time where I got to visit the Alto de Coloane Temple. It is located south of Seac Pai Van Park(Giant Panda Pavilion). It's way up in the mountains of Coloane. You actually have to take a shuttle bus to get there.

You can find the shuttle bus waiting at the road of the entrance going up the mountain (Which is near the entrance of  the Park). However the shuttle bus service is only until 4:30pm. Once you reach the top, the view, structures and landscape is breath taking. Unfortunately, we didn't have much time to hike further and vist the world's tallest A-Ma Statue.(Maybe next time, I'll get the chance)

Since we were going up the mountain, I decided to wear something adventurous but without losing the class. I wore a Black Blouse from Bershka, Ripped Jeans, Boots and a nude hand bag.
